Our events are themed around important topics that our action group want to raise awareness on.

Are you a parent or carer in a supporting role for a person with learning disabilities and/or neurodivergence?

 

Do you want to unwind and connect with other parent/carers who truly get it?Join us for a relaxed, in-person retreat to recharge and explore parenting in an ableist society.

 

We will bring together psychological practices and lived experiences to focus on acceptance and self-compassion in a welcoming environment.

Come as you are and leave feeling rejuvenated.

 

There is a suggested donation of £15, but if money is a barrier, please do get in touch with us.

 

Part day events on Thursday 5th and 12th March, 10am - 12pm

Full day event Saturday 2nd May​

Come and explore a world of vibrant colours,  delightful

scents, and soothing sounds designed  to engage your

senses and connect with nature.

Run your own Inclusive Event

Do you want your event to be a wonderful inclusive place for people with learning disabilities? Our fabulous event manager has lots of experience working closely with people who have lived experience of learning disabilities to turn any event into a success.
We offer consultation with our action group (people with lived experience) or we can get more involved and even run the whole event for you. Get in touch to discuss your requirements.

We host three events a year.

We aim to have 3 inclusive events each year. Each one has a different theme so we can raise awareness and empower local organisations to be inclusive.

Our Action Group lead the way, from making decisions on themes and activities to ensuring venues are accessible and inclusive. We all muck in and make these days a wonderful inclusive place for the whole community to come together. If you would like to volunteer, contact us.​
