We're excited to announce our programme of events and activities on Gloucester Road as part of Learning Disability Week 2026.

'A Place for Everybody' will include a week of games, workshops, crafts, performances and socials. For more information please take a look at our Easy Read guide and programme below.

Learning Disability Week is a national campaign that increases awareness of the experiences, challenges and contributions of people with learning disabilities. You can find out more details on Mencap's website.

Are you a parent or carer in a supporting role for a person with learning disabilities and/or neurodivergence?

 

Do you want to unwind and connect with other parent/carers who truly get it?Join us for a relaxed, in-person retreat to recharge and explore parenting in an ableist society.

 

We will bring together psychological practices and lived experiences to focus on acceptance and self-compassion in a welcoming environment.

Come as you are and leave feeling rejuvenated.

 

There is a suggested donation of £15, but if money is a barrier, please do get in touch with us.

 

Part day events on Thursday 5th and 12th March, 10am - 12pm

Full day event Saturday 2nd May​
