Support we offer

We want to help both individuals and organisations welcome people with learning disabilities.

Group Discussion

Do you want your company to be more inclusive?

Our resource guide is a good place to start looking for answers.

However, the best thing you can do is to get feedback from people who have lived experience. Our Action Group and Mentors can help.

People with a learning disability can visit your company, evaluate it, and provide recommendations to improve the environment, the level of service, customer care, and staff capability to adapt to individual needs.  This type of feedback can be a valuable asset to your company in becoming resilient for a diverse and inclusive future.

We work closely alongside Disability Inc, who provide accessibility surveys.

Bringing disabled people and businesses together can:

  • Increase your income

  • Reduce the risk of disability discrimination claims

  • Minimise complaints and improve customer experience

  • Improve footfall. Disabled people have been proven to be very loyal, and this has a wider impact on friends, family, carers, and so on

  • Lead to better employee retention, recruitment, and satisfaction

The Purple Pound explains all this in more detail.
