Hosting education events

Educating ourselves, those we build relationships with, and the wider community underpins everything that we do. We are working to develop a regular programme of educational events, both online and in person. We aim to share the latest research, examples of best practice and our own lived experiences. We are also developing and growing our database of sector experts who deliver training sessions that we can recommend.

As part of our education and training options we will have a group of local organisations and businesses who meet regularly. These meet ups will enable the businesses to identify their organisational challenges towards including learning disabled people, and to work together to address and overcome them. They will create peer to peer mentoring opportunities.

We also

  • Contribute to academic discussion and take part in professional networks
