Telling Stories
We are working with local families to create and share stories of days out and reviewing businesses and workplaces on how well they cater for learning disabled people.
We want to champion the voice of people with lived experience of learning disability. Has your family been on a day out that was a great experience? Do you have a business recommendation that others in our community would benefit from knowing? Share your stories with us!
If your family would like to be involved in sharing stories either by blogging, making videos or sharing photos from your day-to-day experiences and outings please email us at ….
We have a newsletter we email out to our supporters and people interested in what we are doing. This newsletter is a way of staying up to date with events, gatherings, training and volunteer opportunities as well as good news stories from within our community.
We are in the process of regularly developing and refreshing our website with brand new stories, videos, articles, case studies and journals created in partnership with people with learning disabilities. We are developing an audience for this content through our social media channels, newsletter and PR work.

The summer holidays are now drawing to a close and parents will no doubt be heaving a sigh of relief. It’s hard to find kids’ activities to fill six whole weeks. Accessible kids’ activities are even thinner on the ground. We hope we’ve helped to fill that gap this summer. The lovely Elly at King’s […]
